2. Sarah Larson - Joyce Scheyer's Sister (Death) - Jul 17, 2010 Joyce Scheyer's sister, Mary Greene died just before 1 am (PDT) this morning (July 16) at Oregon Health Science University.
I ask your prayers for Joyce and her family during this time of terrible grief.
3. Jules Smith - My Mother Barbara (Healing) - Jun 24, 2010 My mother, Barbara Smith, has suffered a mini- stroke and is in the hospital for further tests. As those of you who have met her know, she is a vibrant, healthy person. We and the medical staff are optimistic regarding her recovery; I would appreciate it if all of us would remember and pray for my mom in your prayers.
4. Mary Frances Comer - Aunt Alphia's Comfort and Safety (Comfort) - Jun 24, 2010 I would appreciate prayers for my friend/aunt, Alphia.
She is 93 and in the nursing home. She received some abusive treatment while I was away and again yesterday and today, so I'll be going there tomorrow to deal with this.
I want her to feel safe in her room, to feel safe when she needs to go to the bathroom or be transferred to go to meals, and I want her to feel safe in her bed at night.
Right now, she is intimidated, afraid, and very stressed out. She didn't sleep at all last night. She was kept from her call button and couldn't call me. If she could stand at all, I would bring her to my house, but her legs don't work, and I can't lift her because of my back.
5. collen bilyeu - terminal husband (Healing) - Jun 7, 2010 please pray for my husband rick from iowa. he was recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and given only a short time to live. he has never smoked and we donot know how he got sick. we have 2 little boys (one is special needs) we just adopted him 8 months ago. we donot have extended family or friends for support. we also care for my elderly mother. she is angry at me for adopting the little one, now that my husband is sick. she wants me to put him in fostercare and that will break my heart. but i may have no choice. my little boys donot have a grandpa, and now their daddy may die. i would be so lonely if my husband passes. he is my soulmate and only friend and i cannot bear the thought of being all alone. i need him so much. i am an older mother and will be almost 70 when these kids are raised. my husbands illness has been so stressful that icanot eat or sleep and fear that my own health is at risk also. please pray for a miracle and help my husband recover.thank you Lord! God Bless all those who pray for me.

7. Tom and Robin Warfield - Paul Highland (Safety in the military) - May 12, 2010 Paul is serving a second tour in Afghanistan as an Attack Helicoper Pilot. Robin and I both pray to keep him safe and return him to his parents, Bill and Nan Highland. Paul has chosen a Military life and our prayers also go out to all who chose to keep us safe from harm
8. Janice Morris - Melissa (Comfort) - Apr 29, 2010 Keep my friend Melissa in your prayers. She got the call she expected 20 years ago that her brother was found after an overdose. He'd been clean for the past eight years. His memorial service is Saturday, May 1, in Connecticut.
9. Kristen Stevens - Jason DiGiacomo (Safety in the military) - Apr 25, 2010 Please add Jason DiGiacomo to those in the military on our prayer list. He is my best friend's husband and left for Iraq on April 26, 2010. Please keep him safe, Lord!
10. Beau Jeannine Cote - Diagnosis Cancer (Comfort) - Dec 18, 2009 Beau Jeannine Cote's mother has been diagnosed with advanced abdominal cancer. She has had to take a leave of absence from EDS to assist her brother in taking care of her mother in her final days at home. Please pray to the Holy One that Beau's mother may pass over to him peacefully and painlessly, and that he will grant comfort to Beau, her brother and others in her family.
